“We are the eyes in the storm, the watchers of the high peaks. If you do not see us, then we are already ahead of you.”Sentinel-Captain Ulfric Dornshield

Description:
The Greypeak Sentinels are the elite mountain rangers of the Helbrann League, tasked with safeguarding the treacherous peaks, frozen valleys, and highland forests of their homeland. These warriors serve as the League’s first line of defense, patrolling the borders, tracking enemy movements, and ensuring that orc warbands, frost giants, and other mountain threats never take the League by surprise.

The Sentinels are more than scouts; they are survivalists, monster hunters, and guardians of the wild paths. Hardened by harsh winters and high-altitude warfare, they are experts in tracking, ambush tactics, and precision strikes, ensuring that no invader sets foot in Helbranni lands without consequence. They train in ancient rune-bound survival techniques, allowing them to endure extreme cold, navigate sheer cliffs, and blend into the wilderness with uncanny skill. Many of them have formed deep bonds with snow wolves, great eagles, or hardy mountain rams, using them as companions and mounts in their patrols.

The Greypeak Sentinels are nomadic warriors, rarely staying in one place for long. Their life is one of constant vigilance, living off the land and striking hard against any who threaten the League. Some Sentinels, however, find themselves drawn to the outside world, bringing their survival skills and mountain wisdom to those in need, whether as mercenaries, adventurers, or lone wanderers.

Feature: Sentinel’s Instinct

You have honed your senses to survive in the most dangerous and remote regions of the world. You can always find enough food and shelter in mountainous or cold environments for yourself and up to five others, provided the land has anything to offer. Additionally, you can move through natural difficult terrain (such as snowdrifts, rocky slopes, or dense forests) without slowing your travel pace.

Furthermore, you have an intuitive sense for impending danger. You can often recognize the signs of avalanches, rockslides, and the presence of creatures native to the highlands. If you spend at least an hour observing an area, you can determine whether it has been disturbed by unnatural forces, such as magical corruption or recent monstrous activity.
