The star resisted, trembling under the strain of this foreign influence, but the anomaly would not be undone.

When the chaos finally settled, the star that should have been was gone. In its place stood a being unlike anything the universe had ever known. They were luminous yet tangible, a singular entity imbued with the essence of the star’s unspent potential. They emerged fully formed, radiant, and alive, cradled in the remnants of nebulae and stardust, a spark of sentience born from what should have been a raging flame.

Tsoinehisi, they would later be called, though names were meaningless to their nature. They were not a star, not a person, not a fragment of any race or world. They were singular, unique, the living embodiment of a question the universe itself had never meant to ask. What if something that was never meant to be alive, suddenly was?
