The Torchbearers were a society of protectors, devout to protecting the waking world from darkness and evil. Once every couple of years, a Torchbearer is born. Usually, the Torchbearer can be lawful, neutral, or chaotic-aligned, but it must always be good-aligned. Art, like writing and painting, is often a medium for their pursuits for good.
