Disaster befell the group you lived with and you alone emerged with your life. This may have been a found family, a military troop, your tribe or the whole village you grew up in. Surviving the disaster was just the beginning. You grew up in a community where you relied heavily on the support of your loved ones, but now you have to survive in a world without them.

- Languages: One additional language
- Equipment: You wear a locket with pictures of those lost to you, worn common clothes, the set of tools you are proficient in, a book of myths you read to your child, and a belt pouch with 10 gp in it.
You have seen death firsthand, and should be dead yourself. You have come to see every new day not as a gift but as another stolen from the Raven Queen, and have lost your instinctive fear of death. You are immune to becoming afraid.
No one knows what lights the fire within you, but it is apparent that you are driven by something more than a mere will to survive. You are relentless and enduring. You can not die from exhaustion, and once per long rest, you can use your Indefatigable Will to shed one level of exhaustion.
