But Sigil’s always shifting, and no tout stays at the bottom forever. Maybe you stumbled across a secret too big to ignore, or made an enemy in the wrong faction. Maybe you saw a door open to something greater beyond just scraping by. Whatever the case, you’re done just guiding others—you’re ready to step through the portals yourself and make your own mark on the planes.

Your work as a tout has granted you a wide network of contacts across Sigil. You know the best (and worst) places to get information, can usually find someone willing to share a rumor, and have an easier time navigating the ever-changing streets of the Cage. Even when you’re in another plane, there’s a chance you’ll recognize someone, or they’ll recognize you. You can roll Insight checks with advantage to determine if somebody or an item is of planar origin or prime. You can add your charisma bonus to investigation checks when dealing with people.
