Army Barracks Foundling Image

You are an infant orphan, found on a remote farm by a roaming army patrol.

Your family had been killed and your farm destroyed, from what the soldiers can determine the attack was done by Ogres (Monster of your or DM's choice).

You had not been isolated for too long to suffer other consequences, but are still suffering trauma, and do not have any other family to support you.

Because of this, you suffer from the FEAT - PHOBIA (Monster of your or DM's choice). When in sight of the Phobia(s) or Phobia-related(Monster of your or DM's choice), you must succeed on a Wisdom DC15 saving throw every round while the Phobia(s) is alive or until dead or fleeing from combat,  or suffer from Cause Fear, and if the save fails DC7 they suffer from Fear.

On a roll of NAT 1, you go berserk attacking nearest creature, friend or foe.

Being an orphan, the barracks adopted and treated you as a child soldier without actually doing regular combat.

Being a child soldier you have had vigorous training, and have the choice of Survival or Athletics skills.

In the barracks, you were adopted by the Chaplain, a Priest of Ilmater, who taught you herbalism and gave you a Herbalism Kit to support the soldiers during their patrols.

The Chaplin taught you the skills of Medicine or Religion skill.

As a child soldier, you have been made a camp assistant and been taught cooking and healing and have been given the equipment to support these skills Healer's KitCook's Utensils. You have the proficiencies but not the ability bonus.

As a leaving gift, the soldiers gave you a dagger, and a handaxe.

Being the chaplain's orphan did you learn HEALING from them, or did you learn to be ALERT from the soldiers on the sentry picket?
