You were once a divine being: worshipped, feared, immortal. However, something shattered your station: betrayal, rebellion, failure, or perhaps mercy. Now, you walk among mortals, a faded echo of the infinite.
You remember eternity. But eternity doesn't remember you.
- Skill Proficiencies: Arcana, Insight
- Languages: Celestial, and one additional ancient or dead language (e.g., Primordial, Supernal, or a forgotten dialect of Draconic)
- Equipment:
- A relic from your divine realm (a cracked holy symbol, a forgotten scripture, etc.)
- Traveler's clothes with divine embroidery long worn threadbare.
- A journal of fragmented memories.
- A pouch with 15 gp worth of tarnished, out-of-print coins once minted in your name.
Feature: Echo of Divinity
Mortals recognize something otherworldly in you. You can command brief movements of reverence, fear, or awe.
- Once per long rest, you can invoke your Echo of Divinity to gain one of the following for one minute:
- Advantage on Charisma (Intimidation or Persuasion) checks.
- Resistance to one damage type of your choice.
- You radiate dim light in a 10-ft radius, and celestial (or profane) whispers echo around you.
Additionally, when interacting with devout individuals (priests, cultists, celestial/fiendish creatures), you may make a Charisma (Persuasion or Deception) check with advantage to pass as a minor deity, chosen, or herald until proven otherwise.
