The Council's Child – Shaped By Words, Not Weapons (Thaldris) Image

Born in Vintergard, the first city of the Frostfolk, you were not raised as a hunter, warrior, or craftsman. Your life was not shaped by bone tools or icy hunts but by words, discussions, and political intrigue. Your parent was a council member, one of the voices that shaped the city’s future—and whether you liked it or not, that reputation followed you.

While other children learned how to tie fishing nets or craft weapons from ice, you spent your time in the assembly halls, observing. You learned how opinions were forged, how to listen, how to negotiate, how to shape the thoughts of others with carefully chosen words. But that came at a cost.

In childhood games, you always found yourself in one of two roles: Either you were the one taking the punches because you never learned to defend yourself, or you were the leader of the group, persuading adults to do something or standing up for others.

You never learned a craft, and that is something many look down upon. But you are the child of a council member, and though it is not an achievement of your own, it still earns you admiration. Your name alone opens doors—but it can just as easily close them.

Now, you stand at a point where you must decide what to make of this legacy. Will you embrace the art of diplomacy, or step out of the shadow of your name?
