You were born not among your kin, but in the hands of a dragon-worshiping cult who saw you as a divine gift—an egg with a direct bloodline to Bahamut. They raised you in isolation, both pampered and imprisoned, using your celestial powers to heal, bless, and protect them. You were never given a choice.
Eventually, you attempted to escape—whether during a rare outing, a rebellion, or a moment of vulnerability. In desperation, you made a deal with a hag, thinking your bloodline made you clever enough to outmatch her. You were wrong. She cursed you, sealing you in a fragile human form, stripping away most of your draconic power. The cult never found you again. Now you’re on your own for the first time—alone, confused, and small—human, weak, and aimless in a world you didn’t understand.
You’re no longer a divine symbol. Now, you’re just someone trying to survive.
- Skill Proficiencies: Religion, Persuasion
- Languages: Draconic, Celestial
- Equipment: A set of fine worn clothes, a small locket containing a scale (once yours, now dull) and a purse containing 15 GP
Though your form is human, remnants of your celestial-draconic essence remain. Once per long rest, when casting a spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to manifest faint spectral features—horns, tail, glowing eyes, or radiant scales—that last for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. During this time, you gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation or Persuasion, your choice) checks made against creatures who can see you.
At the DM’s discretion, people who witness this may react with awe, fear, or suspicion.
