Infernal Manifestations

Your infernal heritage manifests in unique and sometimes terrifying ways. The flames of your bloodline, the marks of your transformation, and the ways your power erupts all vary between Hellborn. Whether it’s the shape of your ghost rider form, the color of your hellfire, or the appearance of your cursed chain, these manifestations are intensely personal.

You can roll on the Hellborn Manifestations table to determine how your infernal powers uniquely present themselves, or you can choose the option that best fits your character’s style.

Feature: hells arsenal

Your infernal bloodline has forged unique, supernatural weapons that respond to your will.

  • Penance Stare: You can deliver the Penance Stare as an action once per long rest. A creature you can see within 30 feet must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is paralyzed for 1 minute and is haunted by visions of their sins. On a success, the creature is immune to your Penance Stare for 24 hours.

  • Stone Chain: You can wield a Hell forged chain as a weapon. As an action, you can wrap the chain around a creature within 20 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be restrained and instantly turned to stone. On your next bonus action, you may shatter the petrified enemy by yanking the chain. You can use this ability once per short rest.

🔥 New Feature Addition: Body of Chain and Flame

Your body is forged from hellfire and living infernal chains. You are not flesh and bone — you are a sentient construct of molten flame and shifting links.

Hellfire Form:

  • Your body is made of living hellfire and infernal chain. You are immune to poison, disease, and bleeding effects.

  • You cannot be petrified, paralyzed, or physically restrained by non-magical means, as your form can shift through minor gaps.

Phase Through Obstacles:

As a bonus action, you can move through solid obstacles as if you were semi-ethereal, weaving your chain body through walls, barriers, or locked doors.

  • You can pass through up to 15 feet of solid material per turn.

  • If you end your movement inside an object, you are shunted to the nearest empty space and take 1d10 force damage.

  • You can use this ability a number of times

Variant Hellborn Nephilim: Hellborn Nephilim (Infernal Avatar)

Not all Hellborn Nephilim carry the same infernal burden. Some are destined to walk the path of the Infernal Rider, beings whose connection to hellfire manifests as unstoppable speed, flaming mounts, or spectral vehicles that carry them across the battlefield like a blazing storm.

As an Infernal Rider, your ghost rider form is more than just a transformation—it’s a manifestation of motion and destruction. You might ride a flaming spectral steed, a blazing hell-forged motorcycle, or a chariot pulled by skeletal beasts. Your chain crackles with speed and power, and you can summon your infernal ride at will.

This variant emphasizes mobility, momentum, and raw destructive force.

Variant Feature: Infernal

🔥 Variant Feature Name:

Infernal Legacy

📜 Variant Feature Description:

Your infernal bloodline has manifested in a unique way, granting you an alternative connection to your hellish ancestry. Instead of the standard Hell’s Arsenal feature, you can choose this variant to channel your power through raw hellfire and psychic control.

Infernal Legacy Feature:

You can cast the Hellish Rebuke spell at will, without expending a spell slot. When you cast Hellish Rebuke this way, it deals fire and psychic damage simultaneously (half of each).

Additionally, you can use your pyrokinesis to ignite small objects and create minor, harmless flames at will, similar to the Prestidigitation cantrip, but your flames are always uniquely colored (you choose the color when you create your character).

This feature represents a more psychic and flame-focused expression of your hellish power rather than your arsenal of physical weapons.
