You were cursed by a demon, and for a time it nearly consumed you. But through sheer will—or perhaps desperate instinct—you’ve learned to control it. Now, by activating a terrifying form that briefly merges your body with the curse’s power, you move at supernatural speeds, almost too fast for the eye to follow. You still fear what it might do if you lose control… but when it’s active, you’re a blur of unstoppable momentum.
- Feat:
Feature: Demonic Momentum
Your curse manifests as a form you can activate at will—though doing so still rattles your nerves. When transformed, your body channels a surge of demonic energy, sharpening your reflexes and vastly increasing your speed. In settlements or familiar terrain, you can analyze movement routes at a glance, finding escape paths and choke points in an instant.
Additionally, when interacting with those who recognize your cursed nature (e.g., scholars, warlocks, cursed survivors), you may gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) or Charisma (Persuasion) checks depending on how you present yourself—either as a threat or as someone who’s endured the abyss.
DM Note: This is a narrative feature—the form does not have mechanical activation rules unless agreed on by the DM. The bonus movement is covered by the Mobile feat (below).
- Skill Proficiencies: Athletes, acrobatics
- Languages: Deep Speech
- Equipment:
- A friction-worn scarf that only moves when you’re in motion—never in the wind, never while standing still
- A worn token of the curse’s origin (such as a scorched bone pendant or obsidian shard etched with infernal runes)
- A journal filled with erratic, speed-written notes you don’t remember writing
- A set of dark, lightweight traveler’s clothes with reinforced soles
- A small pouch containing 12 gp

You gain the Mobile feat at 1st level.
Mobile Feat Benefits:
- Your speed increases by 10 feet.
- When you use the Dash action, difficult terrain doesn’t cost extra movement on that turn.
- When you make a melee attack against a creature, you don’t provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or miss.
