Root Miner

You grew up in the Root Ground, a region where ancient roots from before the apocalypse twist through the ground. You survived by hollowing out the roots to collect the bark and whatever else you could find, then selling it to make a living. Much of your life has been spent in the mines; the mines have shaped who you are. Whether this life has made you dull, forced you into depression, enabled your creativity, been the best or worst life you can imagine, the mines have changed you.
