Origin:

Unlike your sister, whose power commands legions and darkness itself, your strength lies in stealth, precision, and the subtle control of shadows.

You know how to find and use shadows to hide and move unseen. You can find places to hide or rest in urban or wilderness environments where others would be exposed. When trying to avoid detection, you can usually find a place to blend in or disappear for at least an hour, even in hostile areas.

Prerequisite: Shadowborn Scion Level 2

You can briefly merge with the shadows to evade detection. As a bonus action, you become lightly obscured by shadows until the start of your next turn. While veiled, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and impose disadvantage on attack rolls against you from creatures that rely on sight. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Feat: Shadowstep

Prerequisite: Shadowborn Scion Level 4

You have learned to teleport between shadows. As a bonus action, you may teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is in dim light or darkness. If you end your teleport in such an area, your next melee weapon attack on the same turn deals an additional 1d6 necrotic damage. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
