You have passed through The Hedge and successfully traveled across realms to come to your current location. A feat that has not been done for quite some time. Before you, beings sometimes passed through of their own accord, while others were lured from their home realms in pursuit of something their home realm couldnt provide. And many unlucky beings were spirited away against their will. 

By passing through The Hedge you are forever cursed or blessed (depending on who you ask) with the gift of magic. It is now imbedded into your being and is apart of you as much as your DNA is a part of you. Along with this, the magic flowing through The Hedge has been generously gifted you with some abilities to ease your transition into your new realm.  

 

 
Feat:  


Data Roaming


For some reason phones and similar devices actually get decent cross realm connection. If you had one of these devices on your person the following applies:

Your phone will start at 100 percent. Roll a D20.
Check will start at 5 DC save.
Will increase by one each time the phone is used. 
With a success phone battery will only go down 5 points. 
A failed check will result with your battery going down 10 points. 
Unless the phone is dead, one can take photos without having to do a charger check.
You unfortunately do not know if there is a way to charge your phone. 


Magician 
Leveling:

Changelings who practice and improve their magic skills are known as magicians. With the help of card focuses you can cast spells (Wizard Spells) that would normally take you years to learn. Think of the cards as bowling with bumpers. You still need to practice to be good, but the bumpers are there to make sure your newly acquired magic doesn't go bouncing off into someone's home. 

When leveling up, the players have the option to prioritize either their main class or magician (wizard) class. Normally when leveling up, their main class level will go up one and their magician class by a third. So it would take 3 main class level ups, to achieve next your next magician level.  Players have the option choose to invert their level up. So when you level up, you can choose to go up a full Magician level and an only a third of their main class. 

Magician Spell Cards:

The PCs, when they acquire their sacks, will start with 3 cards. There will be chances to purchase cards in the future. These cards will give the pcs the chance to cast a Magician (Wizard) spell (Within their Wizard level) without concentration. The cards will need a long rest to recharge. The cards are waterproof. You will need to set your spells after you long rest. You can choose to assign either cantrips or spells to the cards. 


 

Skill Proficiencies:


You are now proficient in Arcana, Deception, & Survival. 

Tool Proficiencies:


You are now proficient in Cook's Tools. A handy thing seeing that you are in a new land with many unknown food items that may or not be dangerous. You can use these tool's to get advantage on making food safe to eat. 

You are also proficient in Navigator's Tools. You can use these tools to get advantage and help you get an idea of where you are in the world and help you remember on how to get home. 

Languages:


You can now speak, understand, and sign the common language of The Folk, Folkien. While there are many languages that exist among The Folk, this is the one spoken by most everyone in Mirra. It is debated to be the true language of magic. 

Equipment:


Whatever you had on your person when you arrived in this new realm. 

Your fingertips look like they have been dipped in a slightly translucent sparkling blue paint. 

 
Feature: Changeling

 

There are no "humans" in Mirrarynth (More commonly called Mirra). Humans ( and creatures) from Earth are beings without magic. And in Mirra, everything has magic, even those not from here. To The Folk, this little change makes you no longer human. You have changed into what is known as a Changeling. It is a very silly and roundabout Folk thing. Especially since you still look and act very human and the only thing making you no longer "human" is your magic.
