Unmasked Horror Image

A tragic event or cruel twist of fate has left you physically marked in a way that unnerves those around you. Whether your disfigurement is the result of an accident, experimentation, a curse, or something far stranger, you’ve learned to conceal it behind a mask—be it porcelain, leather, metal, or cloth. The mask shields not just your face, but your vulnerability. Some people fear what lies beneath; others pity you. But you have learned to make their fear your weapon.

As a bonus action, you can reveal the unsettling truth of your visage. When you remove your mask, choose any number of creatures within 10 feet of you that can see your face. Each chosen creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest. Creatures that have already seen your unmasked face within the past 24 hours have advantage on the saving throw.
