You were cast out from the High Wizard Family at the age of fifteen when the death of your elder brother is blamed on you as an attack rather than self defense. You have had to take care of yourself ever since and survival in the harsh noth has made you stronger than before. Your banishment and lone wanderings have made you distrustful of everything and everyone beside yourself and your weapons.
- Skill Proficiencies: Skill Proficiencies: Deception, Survival, Sleight of Hand, Athletics, and Magic.
- Tool Proficiencies: Casting aside your wizardly heritage you have adopted the path of a warrior. Ten years of fighting for survival in the icy tundras of the far north has made you an expert in your weapon of choice - the Kyoketsu Shoge.
Though you still retain your affinity to Magic you no longer use these skills as they are a reminder of the life you we cast from.
A hard life on your own has made you a decent theif, your ability to steal has saved you from starvation and death many times.
- Languages: Choose two Standard languages: Dwarvish, Elvish, Giant, Gnomish, Halfling, Goblin, or Orc
- Equipment: Your equipment is suited to the intense cold of the far north with a white cloak and cowl for camouflage. A finely crafted ceramic mask made and enchanted by elvish craftsmen, who you rescued from a band of yeti, hides the stains on your face left by the curse of your brothers blood.
Your kit is one of an adventurer and theif. Containing the basic necessities for survival such as food and water as well as a lockpick set.
The Kyoketsu Shoge, your weapon of choice is a dexterous weapon consisting of a hooked metal blade attached to a 15 ft metal string. As a melee weapon, it does 1d6 slashing or piercing damage. As a ranged weapon, it has a range of 15 ft and does 1d6 piercing damage. On a hit, the attacker can choose to pull the hit creature up to 15 ft if they win a strength contest against the hit creature. The target is at disadvantage for the strength contest (as it has this weapon stuck in them). You can then take their secondary unarmed strike if they wish. The Kyoketsu Shoge can be removed by a DC10 strength check (as a bonus action) and does an additional 1d4 piercing damage when removed. If the weapon is not removed, the attacker can make this pull test as a bonus action on their next turn.
Notes: Melee Weapon Attack: Piercing, Ranged Weapon Attack: Piercing, Can be used as a Monk Weapon, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Reach
