Goliath Exile Image

As a child, a chance (or was it?) event resulted in you being imbued with a mysterious power that you feel prickling at your fingertips and a whisper breathing at the edge of your thoughts. Fear spread quickly among your tribe. They said you had made a pact with something beyond mortal: a giant spirit, a storm god, or worse. You were judged too dangerous, too unpredictable. Your sentence was exile. They led you down the mountain path. No weapons, no companions, only the wind at your back. When you looked over your shoulder for the last time, the peaks were already shrouded in cloud and the storm was darkening over your tribe

Now you wander the lowlands, far from the people who cast you out, wielding powers you never asked for, bound to a patron you cannot name, seeking the truth of a bargain you never meant to make. You fear the storm that walks with you, but you will not bow until you learn the truth of the bargain the clouds ripped from you as a child.

Feature: Child of Cloud Giants

Weather and air seem to respond subtly to your presence - candles gutter, cloaks stir, static tingles and the ever present smell of petrichor.  You rarely show strong emotions. When you do, thunder rolls, the air sparks or sudden gusts betray your feelings, accompanied by lightning flashing in your stormy eyes. You are marked by the cloud-giant blood of old, giants recognise something in you… and may treat you with awe, suspicion, or hostility. You avoid touching people, because the accompanying spark of static is alarming to most.
