You have spent your life as a Pinnacle in a church. You were the center of dark ritual magic and many view your church as cultist in nature. You've shed blood in more rituals than you can count and have served as the vessel for many more. Work with your DM to choose the god or pantheon you serve and more importantly the extremes that your fanatic church went to in their worship. You've left your church and many take pity on you believing that what you have done was forced upon you. Why then did you leave? Was it a message from your god? Were you upset with your involvement? Or do you wish to worship in new ways?

- Equipment: a holy symbol (one that you might have taken with you when you fled your church), a ritual book detailing the spells that had been used on you (unless you have a feature that grants you ritual casting you cannot cast these spells, you can however lend the book so that those who can cast rituals can use it on you with your guidance) a disguise kit with which you are proficient in, a set of travelers clothes, and a belt pouch containing 30 gold pieces.
You have fled your church and all contact with it. When you are in places that reject your church you can expect to receive sufficient lodging food and care for a lower cost for yourself and your companions as the people who assist you take comfort in knowing you too have left that church, typically these people will be those who work in a church that opposes the one from your past and you can expect to gain a contact who may call on you to return the favor. Additionally so long as these folks don't have to go out of their way you can expect to be able to call upon them for assistance for your own travels. Perhaps an extra couple days of rations or other simple but vital equipment.
