The being Known as the Threadbeast was once a god of the Loom - the dimension that wove the fabric of reality itself. In his divinity, he bent threads to create legions of Threadbound, unraveling whole worlds in his conviction that humanity's sins must be undone and rewoven anew. To the other gods, his crusade was intolerable; he threatened not only mortal order but their dominion. In a desperate act, they tore his mind and soul from his godly form, leaving his body a hollow husk. Yet even banishment could not could not silence him. Through one of his own creations he clawed back, and the gods were forced to cast him wholly from the Loom, exiling him across the void. Now, in a new dimension, his essence rooted in mortal flesh - a vessel too small for his enormity. His hands betray what he once was: woven cords of living thread, remnants of divinity that refuses to die. Varrek is a living omen. To commoners he is monstrous, to soldiers dangerous, to scholars intriguing, to priests abominable. Wherever he goes, he leaves ripples - fear, fascination, or whispers of prophecy. People will remember him, even if only as "the giant with the thread-hands." His threadlimbs and towering body don't just mark him as unusual - they alienate him from every group in some way. But they also give him a mythic presence; even without declaring who he once was, mortals feel that he is something larger than life.
Description: A gods mind and soul rooted in a humans body causing odd and uneven growth, now 8'4", his arms reach down to his knees, and threads course underneath his skin. His hands and half of his elongated forearms are made of his own threads, his fingers end in sharpened finger tips. Normally draped in a cloak of his own living threads in a feeble attempt to conceal his form (cosmetic only) when the need arises the cloak is unraveled and pulled into his skin for use against enemies.
