Some dragons are morally curious about humans and other humanoid creatures and so they choose to intermingle with and bond with those creatures. this is that background. through accident while using your dragon magic, a expelled part of your dragon magic has turned into a small flying creature made out of your dragon magic and frost. the frost creature looks like a fairy made out of unnaturally and constantly frozen ice. the frost creature companion doesn't attack other creatures or fight in battle but it will open, unlock, pick up, move and close things that would require the use of hands, if you want to do something requiring the use on hands, however you have to be next to the item or thing you want affected in order for your frost companion to affect that item or thing. the frost companion creature follows you around and it has a carrying capacity of how much you can carry. because your companion is a frost creature, you are proficient speaking, reading, and writing the language of the ice element. one backpack you have that represents your interdimensional portal to a ice cave dimension where your items and things you hold onto are kept. your Frost Companion takes and puts in things from and into that ice cave dimension. (note: use this background with the Silver Dragon homebrew species i created and the Silver Dragon (E) fighter subclass.)
