Tavern Worker

Maybe it was the excitement that always surrounds the tavern, especially at night.  Maybe you like to serve people.  Maybe you like meeting all the new people who pass through town, and the tavern was the place to be.  Maybe you dream of performing in the tavern, and sometimes you get the chance to when the crowds are thin and the local bard has taken the night off.  Maybe you want to one day own a tavern of your own, and you've decided to take the journey from its foundation to learn the business.  Whatever the reason, you've taken up the job of working in a tavern.  You sweep when the common room requires it.  You help the barmaids collect the empty mugs from the tables.  You mop up the various messes that find their ways upon the floors.  You help the bartender bring up a fresh barrel of mead or wine.  You have even gotten a chance to serve an occasional customer, either behind the bar or at their table.  So far, you've learned a lot about people.
