You devoted yourself to service in a temple, either nestled in a town or secluded in a sacred grove. There you performed rites in honor of a god or pantheon. You served under a priest and studied religion. Thanks to your priest’s instruction and your own devotion, you also learned how to channel a modicum of divine power in service to your place of worship and the people who prayed there.

Only accessed while mad.
This power has forced you into a life of peace, as episodes of extreme violence take place from instability in your worship.
Whenever you kill a creature, you gain 1d4 hit points and make a DC 10 concentration check. You go into a bloodthirsty wrath when any of the following occurs:
1) Whenever a concentration check is failed, go mad for a number of turns equal to half of your level, rounded up.
2) Whenever you are charmed, you go mad instead for the duration of the charmed effect.
3) Whenever HP is reduced to 0, gain 1d12 hit points and remain mad until you are knocked back to 0.
"Mad" is treated like any other status effect which can be removed with a sufficient spell or magic item. Whenever your character is mad, you gain the ability to use the spells of an oathbreaker paladin. Hit point bonus is increased to 1d6 whenever killing a creature. Attack rolls have a +1 modifier (in addition to any other bonuses in effect).
