You have been spurred into action, and to achieve your goal you must do the impossible. Whether this goal was given by some higher being, burned into your soul by spite alone, or a self assigned goal that vehemently must be accomplished by any means necessary.
When you choose this background, work with your DM to determine where this will spawns from, and to what lengths your character is willing to go. Did it come from vengeance, was it a promise, or a pact of some kind? Or it might have been something to get away from.

You must succeed, you must trek, you must go unbroken, like your will, determination, and with all of that aiding you. You will Persevere. Any travel roll, you can claim it to be a success. You have a total of 20 of these in your entire life. The only way to recharge them is to use a Wish Spell, or be granted them back through a higher being.
Suggested Characteristics
The mission should be difficult, to an extreme degree. But the reason doesn’t need to be, there’s no reason as to not be petty. But it can also be validated by extremism, to the point that it may even be to take down a country.
