You are the protector of the star of the show. You keep the undesirables, the fans, the sleazy record producers, the criminals and the bad drug dealers away. You are the last line of defense between your employer and death and self-destruction. Your sole mission is to get your employer to the next show, the next job, the next performance as healthy and clear-headed as possible. Not only are you the muscle to keep them alive, you are the caregiver, providing the medicine after they take too much "fun", the task master, making sure the curtain goes up on time, the friend to keep the psychological strain of being on the road at bay, and even the blocker of those who wish to take advantage of your employer's person, or who wish to be taken advantage of by them.
It is not a glamorous life, as you are little more than a hired hand, a servant who's purpose in life is to keep someone else happy and healthy. However, it is a noble profession, where you are on the fringe of fame, keeping the backstage secrets of a star while maintaining their dignity. Without you, there is no show. Without you, their is no name on the marquee. While the masses show up to see them, you are the one who makes it all possible.
You are the man behind the man.

You are the gateway to the stars, and with one message, one scroll, one conversation, you can make or break an aspiring performer, get someone access to the best in the biz, or get them banished from ever being around superstars.
Suggested Characteristics
The horrors of the road combined with the rigid discipline of a performer's schedule leave their mark on all roadies, body guards and stage hands, shaping their ideals, creating strong bonds, and often leaving them scarred and vulnerable to fear, shame, and hatred.
