Victorious General Image

You are a general or other high ranking officer, known in your land as someone who was crucial for victory in an important or intense war.

Some soldiers stay at their low rank, while others rise above and carve out their place. You are accustomed to battle and brutality, your mind is sharpened by your rank. Perhaps you had always been inclined to a military lifestyle, or maybe you had been captured and proven yourself to those higher up as a capable fighter. No matter the origin, you are or had been a high rank in your land's military. You're used to lower ranks taking your orders, and the commonfolk staying out of the way whether from respect or fear.

Skill Proficiencies: History or Athletics, and Persuasion or Intimidation

Languages: Two of your choice, at least one must be a non-exotic language (specific to campaign)
Equipment: An insignia of rank, a ceremonial weapon gifted to you for your victory, a set of dragonchess, and a pouch with 15 gold

Feature: Military Rank

You can flaunt or use your previous military rank. Soldiers loyal to your military, or those who have fought with your military company, still recognize your authority and influence, and they defer to you if they are of a lower rank. You can invoke your rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. You can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where your rank is recognized.
