You have firsthand experience with the raw, uncontrolled elemental forces unleashed by the Sundering, and the monstrous creatures they birthed. Perhaps you survived a lightning strike in the Storm-Scarred Peaks, witnessed a pyroclastic flow in the Scorched Wastes, or fought off a Mire Beast in the Weeping Delta. This has left you with an innate understanding of elemental dangers and a hardened resolve to face them.
- Skill Proficiencies: Athletics, Perception
- Tool Proficiencies: Mason's Tools or Leatherworker's Tools (choose one)
- Languages: Primordial (or a dialect of it common to elementals)
- Equipment: A set of well-worn, weather-beaten traveler's clothes, a worn elemental-themed trinket (e.g., a polished piece of volcanic rock, a petrified shard of ice, a lightning-scarred piece of metal), a hunting trap, 10 gp.
Your exposure to raw elemental forces has hardened you. You have advantage on saving throws against being knocked prone or restrained by environmental effects caused by elemental forces (such as strong winds, mudslides, or ice patches). Additionally, once per long rest, when you take elemental damage (acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder), you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1).
