You were born and grew up in the Feywild, until some event took you out of it. Perhaps you were destined for great things. Perhaps you stumbled through a group of adventurers crossing by chance during a stroll in the mystical woods of the eternal twilight. Perhaps you were summoned by a Conjured Fey spell. Whatever the manner of your plane shift, you gradually fell under the charms of the mortal world and learned a little about the nature of the creatures that dwell there.
Will you finally returned to your home plan? Did you don't want to come back? You are haunted by the fact the Feywild-a mirror world hidden behind a mere twist of perception-is only a hair's breadth away. Although your memories of the Feywild feel distant, your heart swells with a mixture of excitement and fear at the prospect of not being able to return to the Plane of Faerie—while searching for a home away from home.

You are a Fey, your soul flows with the wild magic of the Feywild, and your mind thinks differently. The power and wisdom of the Feywild still remain within you, even though you are no longer there.
Below level 6, you have disadvantage on Animal Handling, Insight, Medicine, Nature and Persuasion skill checks related to non-Fey creatures.
At level 4, you gain the "Fey Touched" feat.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two between Acrobatics, Animal Handling, Deception, Performance, Persuasion or Survival.
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of musical instrument or a one type of gaming set.
- Languages: You know the Common and Sylvan languages and can choose one from Elvish, Druid, Gnomish or Goblin.
- Equipment: A set of traveler's clothes, three trinkets (each determined by rolling on the Feywild Trinkets table), A musical instrument or a gaming set (the same one you chose as Tool Proficiencies), a cool stone (or leaf, or stick...) and a pouch containing 5gp

The Feyborn are strangers in an unfamiliar world where everything works differently; their beliefs and knowledge are contradicted daily outside the Feywild. However, over time they adapt to their new life. Some seek to return to the Feywild, others to learn more about their new world.
