A fae creature has picked you as their favourite mortal. Perhaps you were the firstborn child that a hag bargained for. Perhaps a redcap was raising you for meat and changed its mind along the way. Perhaps a community of eladrin took pity on you when you were wandering destitute, or a dryad fell in love with you when you were lost in its forest. Whatever the reason, you have a special relationship with a strange and inhuman creature. This might be either a great boon or a terrible curse. Or both? Knowing the fae, it's probably both.
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, and choose one of either Persuasion or Deception
- Tool Proficiencies: Choose up to two tool proficiencies

- Equipment: A set of quality clothes, a pouch with 20 (poorly forged) gold pieces, a trinket belonging to your fae parent/lover/patron

Your fae ally left you a way to contact them. Your relationship with them may be friendly, fraught, or outright hostile, but however they feel about you they will sometimes send you replies.
Replies can come at the DM's discretion - alternatively, each time you write/call to your fae, roll a percentile die. On a roll below (20 + character level * 4) , the fae will reply. For the contents of the reply, the DM may secretly roll a second percentile die:
01 - 40: The fae rambles about unrelated topics, and offers no helpful advice.
41 - 60: The fae tells a lie designed to further their own designs for you, whatever those may be.
61 - 90: The fae has helpful advice to give, in a general sense - no specific information that will help your current adventure
91 - 00: The fae happens to have pertinent information relevant to your immediate circumstances, and is willing to tell you.

The fae who has taken interest in you has a fearsome reputation - in specific circles. Dropping their name among the kind of person who has knowledge of or business in the Feywild will give you advantage on Intimidation or Persuasion checks.
