The Belmont family were once legendary monster hunters-keepers of forbidden lore, relic-smiths, scholars of the undead, and warriors who trained body and mind alike.
They fought creatures others called myth: vampires, demons, revenants, cursed beasts, and things without names.
Feared as much as they were respected, the Belmonts lived apart from common folk, preserving ancient knowledge in hidden keeps and vaults. When the family was finally destroyed-betrayed, hunted, or wiped out by a coordinated force of monsters and fearful mortals alike-you survived.

- A shortsword
- A hand crossbow or light crossbow with 20 bolts
- Hunter's kit (includes trap components, chalk, stakes, twine, small mirror)
- Holy symbol or warding talisman of your family
- Traveler's clothes with a hooded cloak
- A monster lore journal (partially damaged, written in your family's hand)
- A whetstone, vial of oil, and alchemical reagents
- A belt pouch containing 10
