Devil's Dupe

Those known as the Devil’s Dupe are the unfortunate souls who signed more than just a contract—whether through naivety, desperation, or ambition, they bound themselves to an infernal patron with clauses they never fully understood. Some sought wealth or glory, others protection or forbidden knowledge. All learned the same lesson: devils never lie, but they never give without taking far more.
