The effective pickpocket is one who can choose his target carefully. They must learn to ascertain the nature of a prospective victim. How dangerous will the attempt be? What could the target do in response? And does the chance of financial reward out weigh the risks involved? A successful perception check can be used to assess a targets CR +/- 1d4
