The power of the Weave courses through your veins. You are the direct descendant of the Goddess of the Weave: Mystra. You have been specifically blessed by the Lady of Mysteries Mystra. Due to this blessing, you gained access to unprecedented magical power.

Your lineage is both blessing and burden. You feel the Weave as others feel the wind or warmth: alive, delicate, and sacred. Reckless magic pains you; dead magic chills you to the bone. Whether you revere Mystra, resent her distant legacy, or simply endure it, the truth remains you are tied to the balance of magic itself. You adventure not to prove divinity, but to understand your place in the Weave. Perhaps you seek to protect magic from abuse, uncover lost arcane lore, repair damage left by past catastrophes, or ensure that Mystra’s gift to mortals endures. The Weave remembers you and sometimes, it answers.

Ability Scores: The Descendant of Mystra Background allows you to choose between Constitution, Intelligence, and Charisma. Increase one of these scores by 2 and another one by 1, or increase all three by 1. None of these increases can raise a score above 20.

Feat: Magic Initiate (Wizard)

Languages: You are able to speak, write and read Celestial.
