The Frozen Veil Survivor Image

You survived the Frozen Veil.

Whether it was a failed expedition, a shattered caravan, a collapsed settlement, or a resonance-scarred winter that never ended — you endured when others did not. You know what true cold feels like. Not discomfort. Not hardship.

Silence.

The kind of cold that swallows sound. The kind that makes even prayer feel distant.

You have walked beneath a sky that did not answer.

And you came back.

In Tolara, regions scarred by elemental imbalance and ancient resonance anomalies still exist — remnants of older Ages when structure was hard-won

The DM’s Guide to Tolara.

The Frozen Veil is one such place: a stretch of land where wind carries more than snow, and where the boundary between endurance and erasure is thin.

You learned how to survive there.

You learned what the world becomes when warmth fails.

The Frozen Veil did not take you.

You endured hunger that hollowed the bones, winds that stripped flesh raw, and nights where even the sky felt absent. Your body remembers that cold. It refuses to surrender easily.

Survival was not luck — it was will. And that will still hardens you against what should break others.

Your Hit Point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your character level when you gain this feat.

Whenever you gain a level thereafter, your Hit Point maximum increases by an additional 2 Hit Points.
