Your life has been touched in some way shape or form by the hollows that have appeared around the world. You could have worked in the hollows as a miner, hollow raider, or hollow investigator amongst others. While most people have been impacted by the hollow your life is much more directly impacted because of it and as such you find yourself more drawn to the hollows than the average person.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two out of: Perception, Stealth, Survival
- Languages: One language of your choice and Elvish (Elvish was used in the past as a way of communicating throughout hollows without alerting those 'out of the know' as to what was happening in the hollows, this practice is more widely known about now but has stuck around more out of habit than anything) if the character already knows elvish then a second language of your choice can be selected in it's place.
- Equipment: A set of common clothes, an explorer's pack, two ether aptitude "Basic Boosters", and a pouch/purse/backpack/etc. containing 15 dennies.
There are a number of reasons one could be particularly familiar with a hollow, from being a renowned investigator to a proxy operating outside the law. The lives of those who delve into hollows are wide and varied, and any number of reasons could lead someone to a path into the hollows... You have amassed quite the amount of knowledge surrounding hollows, others who know a decent amount about hollows themselves can tell you are experienced with the subject matter and vice versa.
You know how to casually bring up topics that only those truly experienced with hollows would understand, you can talk in such a way that even if you are a hollow raider speaking to a peace officer they will know your line of work includes hollows in some way but will not inherently know that you are a raider or criminal. This does not improve or worsen your disposition with the person you are talking to, but those who know a lot about hollows are typically more inclined to speak more openly with others who are in similar lines of work, often trading information for information, meaning that they will be much more receptive to speaking with you than they would any other random person on the street.
Additionally, you can tell much easier when someone is trying to fabricate information surrounding themselves and hollows, you have advantage when making an insight check against someone who is giving information pertaining to hollows as you are familiar enough with them to see through obvious lies.

The hollow attracts people from all walks of life for a variety of reasons, with how prominent they are and how much they have become integrated into daily life it's no surprise that so many people find themselves attracted to the hollows despite the many dangers.
