A Custom Background for Warforged / Arcane Constructs.

You were forged, grown, or assembled in a laboratory by an arcanist, artificer, or mage obsessed with pushing the limits of life and magic. Something went wrong. Or perhaps… something went right. You escaped. You were discarded. Or you were deemed unstable. Now you walk the world carrying the scars of experimentation - physical and arcane.

- Tool Proficiencies: Alchemist’s Supplies or Tinker’s Tools

- Equipment: A set of common clothes, a damaged schematic or blueprint containing partial notes about your creation, a small vial of inert alchemical fluid, a belt pouch containing 10gp
You can determine if an object, creature, or area within 10 feet is affected by magic that is unstable, corrupted, or artificially constructed.
You do not learn the school of magic.
You cannot identify the spells.
You simply sense “constructed,” “natural,” or “tampered.”
Additionally
When dealing with artificers, mages, alchemists, or scholars of magical theory, you can usually secure an audience, as your existence alone is a curiosity.
