You are a librarian, who have kept a large collection of books, either for public access, for a noble whose books are their geneology, or a private collection of some sort. Either way, you have spend a long time reading, sorting, and preserving books. Maybe you have spend a comfortable life slowly building up a book collection or you have inherited it and have spend a while keeping it.
Your call to adventure can perhaps be a lost tome that you are seeking to find or replace. Perhaps you have found some ancient knowledge in some tome that you want to explore or you have been called in to act as a investigator in a field, where your work have proven valuable (perhaps it was a collection of medical books or of old knowledge).

- Languages: two languages of your choice.
- Equipment: a bottle of ink, an ink pen, a blank book, a book with old tales written in it, an old lexicon, common clothes and belt pouch with 10 gp.
When you attempt to learn or recall a piece of lore, if you do not know that information, you often know where and from whom you can obtain it. Usually, this information comes from a library, scriptorium, university, or a sage or other learned person or creature. Your DM might rule that the knowledge you seek is secreted away in an almost inaccessible place, or that it simply cannot be found. Unearthing the deepest secrets of the multiverse can require an adventure or even a whole campaign.

You have spend more time around books than around people. You do then have quite alot of knowledge, but you might be very awkward around people. You might be shy or disinterested in other poeple.
