You have worked long as a messsenger, traveling distances to deliver mail, parcels, documents and such. In this job, you might have traveled a known route between towns or villages, or you have traveled withn a city between the many people living there. No matter the case, you would have traveled quite a bit and had to learn the landscape of your route, in order to travel it faster and safer.

Most likely, you have been pulled into this job due to lack of other skills, but you have adapted well to this one. You have then also either learned yourself or been taught how to draw and read maps and how to travel on horse back (or similar) for faster travel.

Your adventuring could very well coinside with a delivery job, where your delivery requires you to travel to a different land. You could also have been conscripted as a messenger for armies.
