You come to as one wakes up from a deep slumber. Light comes to your eyes for the first time, or so it feels. Your senses return and you find yourself in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar faces. Something is not right. Why are you here? Where are you? And… WHO are you? Questions rage in your mind only to find the answers to be missing. Now it’s up to you whether you put the pieces back together and remember the truth of your past, or let it be and start new. In spite of your memory loss, your instinct and muscle memory stay with you, keeping the natural skills and knowledge of your past, even if you don’t know how you know them. People lose their memories for a multitude of reasons: perhaps you were victim to a powerful memory curse, or an aberration devoured your thoughts until you were left with nothing, or maybe you were hit on the head just a little too hard. The circumstances of your amnesia may also be a mystery, but mystery is now your new normal.

Feature: Fresh Start
As someone who’s fallen victim to amnesia, you’re prone to having connections that you aren’t aware of with certain people and places. They may be lost to you, but some locations and faces may have a lingering sense of familiarity that you can’t put your finger on. The connections you used to have but can’t remember could ultimately provide positive or negative outcomes depending on what they are. Furthermore, as an amnesiac, you’ve been gifted the rare opportunity to start over. You may be the same person, but the choices of your past no longer weigh on you, allowing you to build a whole new life if you desire. The choice is ultimately yours.
Suggested Characteristics
Amnesiacs are all bonded by their shared loss of self, but how each individual moves forward is what sets them apart.
