Amnesiac Image

You awoke one day, completely unaware of who you are and where you came from.

Left battered and bruised, you scraped your way over to civilization. There, you recuperated and attempted to speak with the locals. Perhaps they understood you. It is far more likely that they did not. Either way, at the very least these people have made themselves hospitable to you and tried their best to help you along. As you recovered and got back on your feet, you quickly realized one thing: you are not like these people for certain.

You have scales on your skin-- only in certain places, yes, but still present. Your eyes glow with some inhuman determination. When angered, you hiss smoke and leave claw marks on objects you gripped. Although you also have horns upon your head, you know you are not one of the tainted devil children. Something shriller than devil blood calls to you, something more... primal.

Your mission has become answering that call-- and learning exactly who you are. And.... whoever left you for dead.

You need not fear being attacked by wildlife; all small and a few medium size creatures will dare not attack you for the aura of sheer grace and power you exude. This does not protect your companions however, so you will still need to come armed in order to protect them should something happen.

You have an odd talent for finding safe little crevasses out in the open. Little places only you can tuck away into from the rest of the group. However, you will also tend to be a deep sleeper-- especially when resting in a cave or crevasse. This means that if your companions are in danger, you will likely be slow to rouse from rest.

You have an... affinity for certain things. Tomes, scrolls, and all manners of written knowledge entice you with their beckoning calls of learning more of what there is to the world. In addition, you suffer a 67% chance of feeling the urge to swipe the aforementioned literature without permiss. You find the company of learned people to be much more satisfactory, but they will also find it easier to lead you to an agreeable state.

Suggested Characteristics

The amnesiac must have traces of their old, true personality. If they were a brutal person before the incident that robbed their memory, they are quite unnecessarily aggressive at times now. If they were an absolute narcissist before, they tend to be rather self-interested now.
