Court Operative Image

You were trained to move through the halls of power as both guest and ghost.

Whether in royal courts, noble estates, or influential circles, you learned how to navigate delicate social webs where a single misstep could mean ruin—or worse. You specialize in cultivating trust, extracting secrets, and subtly influencing decisions without drawing suspicion. To you, a conversation can be as decisive as a blade.

You may have served a crown, an intelligence network, a merchant consortium, or a hidden order working behind the scenes of politics. Your role was rarely to strike directly, but to ensure outcomes, nudging events, gathering leverage, and placing the right words in the right ears.

You understand status, etiquette, and the unspoken rules that govern power. You know how to present yourself as someone worth trusting…even when you absolutely should not be.

Now, whether you still serve your former masters or have struck out on your own, your talents remain the same: you get close, you learn everything, and you leave before anyone realizes what you’ve taken.

Feature: Web of Influence

You maintain a network of contacts within polite society, servants, minor officials, courtiers, and other overlooked figures.

In any settlement where you can reasonably access high society, you can secure invitations to social gatherings, identify key figures of influence and their general reputations, and find individuals willing to discreetly pass along messages or minor information.

These contacts expect subtlety and discretion. They won’t risk their lives or livelihoods for you, but they can open doors and provide access that would otherwise remain closed.
