Whether born to a noble clan or forged into a wandering ronin by war and loss, you were raised beneath the teachings of discipline, loyalty, and violence honed into art. From childhood, you trained not only with the blade, but with the belief that hesitation in battle is death. Though many outsiders see samurai as elegant warriors and poets, they often fail to understand the terrifying ferocity hidden beneath that composure. A samurai’s strike is not wild rage, but absolute commitment — a single instant where body, steel, and intent become one. You learned to endure pain without complaint, to read the battlefield with sharp awareness, and to meet overwhelming odds head-on if duty demanded it. Whether you still serve a lord, wander as a masterless swordsman, or seek to restore a fallen clan’s honor, your presence carries the weight of sharpened discipline and controlled brutality. Many warriors fight for glory. You fight because your blade is an extension of your soul, and once drawn, it must not falter.

Feature: Iaijutsu Draw

Your training emphasizes explosive precision and overwhelming commitment in the instant battle begins. Once per encounter, when you first draw your weapon during combat and hit with an attack on the same turn, you deal an additional 1d6 damage. This damage represents the momentum, precision, and unpredictability of a perfectly timed unsheathing strike.
