To best serve your battle-brothers, you maintain their physical health, and ensure that they are able to recover as quickly as possible both in the midst of combat and after missions. You are responsible for ensuring the health of your brothers, and should they reap the reward of their duty, retrieving their precious geneseed to create more battle-brothers to replenish casualties.

Apothecary Equipment

As an apothecary, you begin with the following equipment, instead of the equipment given by your class:

• (a) light power armor or (b) power armor
• (a) a bolt handgun with two magazines or (b) a bolt pistol with two magazines
• (a) two chain weapons or (b) a power weapon
• (a) an explorer’s pack or (b) a technologist’s pack
• A headcomm, a shield, narthecium (claws), two frag grenades, two superior medpacs, four doses of medical injectables, and a combat knife (shortsword).
