You are a singular, prototype engine of war manufactured by a faction that no longer exists. Your chassis was built for a conflict that tore the world apart, designed with a terrifying blueprint: total battlefield self-sustainability.
- Ability Scores: Dexterity, Strength, Constitution
- Feat: Prerequisite: Warforged or Construct species
Cannot be attuned or functional while wearing Medium or Heavy armor. You are a prototype engine of war designed for maximum agility and battlefield self-sustainability. You convert the violence you inflict into pure mechanical power through the following traits:
• Feedbacker Plating: Your chassis is built for maximum velocity and deflection. While you are wearing light armor or no armor, you gain a +3 bonus to your Armor Class (AC), and your walking speed increases by 10 feet. (Only applies if wearing Light or No Armor).
• Fuel Pool: You have a reservoir of internal energy represented by Fuel Charges equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended charges when you finish a long rest, or when you use your Tinker's Tools during a short rest to harvest a fresh mechanical or biological corpse.
• Adrenaline Overflow: When you roll initiative, you can immediately expend 1 Fuel Charge to gain temporary hit points equal to 1d10 + your Constitution modifier.
• Kinetic Siphon: Once per turn, when you score a critical hit with a firearm or hit a creature with any attack while within 10 feet of them, you can instantly expend 1 Fuel Charge to siphon their vital fluids. You immediately regain hit points equal to the damage dealt by that specific attack, up to a maximum equal to your character level + your Constitution modifier.
• Feedbacker Parry: When a creature hits you with a melee or ranged weapon attack, you can use your reaction and expend 1 Fuel Charge to parry the blow. Reduce the incoming damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your character level. If you reduce the damage to 0, you successfully swat the attack back: the attacker takes bludgeoning or fire damage (your choice) equal to the amount of damage you reduced.
