A half-vampire is a creature born with vampiric blood, but not fully claimed by undeath. Their body carries echoes of the curse: a hunger for blood, a connection to bats and shadow, and a dangerous charm that lingers beneath their mortal appearance.
Some half-vampires come from cursed bloodlines, ancient noble houses, forbidden rituals, or families stained by generations of dealings with the undead. They are not true vampires, but their blood remembers what it came from.
