Laborer

Living in a city without a trade is difficult, but not impossible. You don't have to be a carpenter to swing a hammer, you don't need to be a sailor to work the docks, and not every one hauling this year's harvest is a farmer. If you're willing to work, you'll find enough of it to feed you and keep you out of the rain. If you're willing to work hard, you may even have enough left over to drink away the aches and pains you got during the day.
