You learned your craft as an apprentice to a master barber, who often doubled as the town's healer and rumormonger. At its shop, you learned how to trim the hair, mustache and beard of the town's most distinguished members, but also how to properly treat small wounds and dispose of blood and hair. Soon, your practice would expand to deal with exotic clients, garnering tales while extracting ingrown scales or glistening horns. As with every apprentice, you soon went your own path, peddling your talents to prince and pauper alike.
