You came from the Cloudland, a large wandering earthmote first found and populated by a species called the wingles. It has a long association with magic(rumored to be home to a wish-granting well, among other wonders) and though it has a castle with a vast library of great learning most folk from the earthmote have a simple and more intuitive grasp on the magic of the isle, and a nomadic and pastoral way of life: herding sheep, goats, and other livestock, and spending time in commune with the isle's nature and with family. Due to its wandering, the Cloudland has become home to a surprising variety of people, and to many, many different birds and flying beasts, with most of its residents having had one as a pet at some point; and, owing to its elevation, its fauna and citizens are a hardy and agile sort not bothered by thin air. The unique culture of the Cloudland will likely have given you a grasp on talents not often found in one individual and the social graces to make use of them.
