When you enter a settlement, ruin, or landmark, the DM may tell you that a memory stirs within you. These memories are incomplete and unreliable, but they may reveal:
- a familiar face or family name,
- the general layout of an old location,
- an important historical event,
- or a vague warning about danger.
These memories are impressions rather than perfect recollections and never replace investigation or exploration.
