Before you became an adventurer, your life was already full of conflict and excitement, because you made a living hunting down the beasts and monstrosities that terrorized the local settlements. Hunting alone or in small teams, each kill brought gold and fame to you. You joined with an adventuring party to find bigger and fiercer quarries than you have already faced.

Tool Proficiencies: Choose between cook's utensils, an herbalism kit, leatherworker's tools, vehicles (land), or vehicles (water) and then between a musical instrument or gaming set.
Equipment: An artisan tool, gaming set, or instrument with which you are proficient, a hunting trap, a set of traveler's clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp.
 
Feature: Muscle for Hire

You are in frequent contact with other wilderness and survival experts. These people might be druids of the local circle, ranger or barbarians who make a living like yourself, or outlanders and hermits that live off the land. This connection comes in the form of a contact in any town you visit, a person who provides information about notable wildlife and places of the local area.

Often considered rude and uncouth among civilized folk, beast hunters have little respect for the niceties of life in the cities. The thrill of the hunt and the natural world of their prey are the most important bonds to most beast hunters.
