A [EBR] Caravan Guard Image

The Marcel Trading Company does not entrust its caravans to just anyone. Through a demanding selection process, you proved yourself dependable, perceptive, and capable under pressure. Whether identifying threats before they emerged, navigating difficult situations between merchants and travelers, or maintaining order on the road, you demonstrated the awareness and judgment required to safeguard the trade routes that sustain the Divide. Life on the trade routes taught you patience, vigilance, and adaptability. You have crossed marshes, deserts, and frozen roads, sharing campfires with traders, laborers, adventurers, and travelers from every corner of the Divide. Along the way, you learned the value of reliability, for a caravan's success often depended less on strength alone than on the trust earned between those who journeyed together.

You are recognized as a former Caravan Guard of the Marcel Trading Company, one of the most respected trading organizations in Karagatan. Within Marcel and its affiliated trade network, merchants, caravan masters, and trade officials generally regard you as a trusted professional. You can typically secure passage with legitimate caravans, obtain reasonable lodging alongside caravan personnel, and request basic information regarding trade routes, road conditions, and known hazards. Elsewhere in Karagatan, your badge is often recognized and may earn courtesy, hospitality, or other reasonable accommodations from merchants familiar with the Marcel Trading Company. However, these privileges are never guaranteed, and rivals or those with grievances against Marcel may react with suspicion or hostility instead.
